Bunny Accessory Pieces
Materials:Â
Use the same weight yarn and same size hook that you used to construct the basic body.
Note: The only pieces I added to the body for a bunny were the ears. The eyes are safety eyes and the rest of the face was embroidered. If you don't have safety eyes, the eyes can be embroidered on as well.
Ears make 2:
Chain 16. Beginning in the second ch from hook, sc 14. In the last ch, sc x 6. Skipping the chain with the 6sc. Sc 14 back down the other side of the chain. Ch1, turn.
Slip stitch in the next 8 sts, sc in the next 3 sts, hdc in the next 4 sts. This brings you to the center 4 sts at the bottom of the ear. 2dc in the next st. 3dc in each of the next 2 sts, 2dc in the next st. Continuing to the top of the ear, hdc in the next 4 sts, sc in the next 3 sts, slip stitch in the last 8 sts. Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
TAIL: pom-pom glued or sewn in place
